The first time we drove
intoWindRose in Houston's Great Northwest, I felt an overwhelming déjà
vu. Laced with rolling terrain, century-old live oak trees and ponds,
WindRose swept me away to another time - when I was a little girl on a
family drive exploring the Texas countryside, watching sunlight tumble
over pastures and dance with bluebonnets. |

Scenic trails connect
the neighborhood's many charming homes to the wooded WindRose golf course,
old-fashioned Meeting House and Village Green. It feels like another
era, yet WindRose is so close to all, just minutes from I-45, FM 1960 and
the terrific Klein schools. WindRose has a vitality that touches
my soul. I can almost see my sister, Sarah, and me playing dodge
ball after school, riding our bikes down to Janie's house and playing hide-and-seek
among the trees. Then I realize it's not Sarah and I laughing - it's
my own Jennifer and Jason, living right here in WindRose. And I know
we've come home. |
