        		Today is Courtney's 7th birthday.  Her party was at the Recreation Center.  The kids swam and played in the tot park.  The mothers played tennis and sunned.  By 4:30, nobody wanted to leave.  Since they all live outside Longwood, they reluctantly began dribbling home.  Except I think one of the mothers is still at the pool.

            In beautifully landscaped Recreation Centers throughout the community, you can swim in a competition-sized pool (with a childrens' pool alongside), play tennis day or night, have a gam e of volleyball or spread out a picnic on a table under the trees. And "tot parks with the latest playground equipment prove tempting for grownups, too. 
          In fact, the entire community is a playground, witk hike and bike trails everywhere and broad greenbelts for relaxing and taking in the scenery. The small scale of Longwood, minimal traffic and wide open spaces give you a rare sense of privacy in your leisure time.  You'll quickly appreciate that the only density here is in the forest.
