Tanglewood

Tanglewood was developed in the mid-1950s from former farmland. The original houses were modest ranch-style homes. As development continued into the 1960s, the new homes became larger and more luxurious. The development of The Galleria, and it's surrounding office complexes, have made Tanglewood one of Houston's premier neighborhoods. Tanglewood real estate prices have seen major appreciation over the past decades, and many of the original homes have been torn down to make room for multi-million dollar mansions.
